Today there are two, called dichloromethane (Methylene Chloride), called ethyl acetate (Ethyl Acetate), in comparison.
Dichloromethane has strong solubility and can be quickly dissolved in many organic materials. Its properties are stable, and it is not easy to react chemically at room temperature. However, it is slightly toxic, so use it with caution. If inhaled in excess, it may be harmful to human health.
Ethyl acetate has a mild taste and good solubility. It is soluble in a variety of natural and synthetic substances. And its toxicity is slight, which is relatively safe. But it is flammable and needs to be taken precautions when placed in a place with fire.
If you want to choose one of the two, it depends on your needs. If you want strong solubility, and toxicity control, dichloromethane can also be; if the heavy safety and aroma, but also need to dissolve the work, ethyl acetate is appropriate. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages, users carefully observe and choose.
