Lead Acetate Test Albumin
Method of detecting albumin by lead acetate
To test albumin, use the method of lead acetate. Prepare the lead acetate solution first, take an appropriate amount of the liquid to be tested, and drop a little into the lead acetate solution. If the solution contains albumin, it can be seen that it is turbid or precipitated. This is because the interaction between lead acetate and albumin causes protein to coagulate and precipitate, so this is the case. By observing its changes, it can be determined whether the solution contains albumin. This is a commonly used detection method.
