Ethyl Acetate First Aid
If someone accidentally touches ethyl acetate, first aid is very important.

Skin Contact
Once the skin comes into contact with ethyl acetate, quickly remove the contaminated clothing and rinse the contact area with a large amount of flowing water. The rinsing time should not be less than fifteen minutes. In this way, the residual ethyl acetate on the skin can be removed as much as possible to reduce its irritation and damage to the skin.

Eye Contact
If the eyes come into contact with ethyl acetate, be sure to lift the eyelids immediately and rinse thoroughly with a large amount of flowing water or normal saline for at least fifteen minutes. The rinsing process should be gentle and comprehensive to ensure that the ethyl acetate that will enter the eyes is washed away. After rinsing, you should seek medical attention immediately, and be further examined and treated by a professional doctor to prevent serious eye damage.

Inhalation
If you inhale ethyl acetate, you should quickly evacuate to a fresh place in the air to keep the respiratory tract unobstructed. If symptoms of breathing difficulties occur, you need to give oxygen in time; if breathing stops, you should immediately perform artificial respiration and quickly send to the hospital for treatment. On the way to the hospital, you should not interrupt first aid measures.

In case of ingesting
by mistake, do not induce vomiting on your own. You should immediately drink enough warm water to dilute the ethyl acetate in the stomach, and then seek medical attention quickly. Professional medical personnel will implement appropriate treatment.
