Carbon Dioxide Fuel Source
Carbon Dioxide Fuel Source
The theory of using carbon dioxide as a fuel source
In recent times, science and technology have become more and more advanced, and the study of energy has become more and more profound. In the meantime, carbon dioxide is expected to be the source of fuel. This theory is gradually emerging, which is thought-provoking.

Watching between heaven and earth, carbon dioxide is often referred to as waste gas. Its accumulation in the atmosphere gradually intensifies the effect of greenhouse, and the global climate changes as a result. However, the wise observe that this seemingly useless thing may be used in hiding.

Because carbon dioxide contains carbon, carbon is the foundation of energy. If it can be transformed by magic to turn carbon dioxide into fuel, it will be a wonderful thing. Today's technology has already begun. Or by means of photocatalysis, simulating the principle of photosynthesis, under light, carbon dioxide and water are factored to produce hydrocarbons, which can be used as fuel; or by means of electrochemical methods, carbon dioxide is converted into carbon monoxide by means of current, which is also a precursor to fuel.

If this path is successful, there are three advantages. First, reducing the accumulation of carbon dioxide, slowing down the suffering of greenhouse, making the climate normal and the ecology peaceful; second, expanding the way of energy, when the traditional energy is gradually depleted, carbon dioxide is everywhere, which can be a source of sustainability; third, promoting the innovation of the industry, leading to changes in catalysis, chemical industry and other industries, creating countless opportunities and promoting economic prosperity.

However, things are not easy. The technology of transformation requires an efficient catalyst, which is hard to find; the energy consumption of the process also needs to be considered. If the energy consumption is too large, the gains will not be worth the losses. And large-scale applications, the construction of equipment, and the promotion of technology are all difficult problems.

However, the progress of science and technology is far-reaching. How could the past people expect that today's communication is instantaneous and flying? With time, and unremitting research, it will be able to overcome all kinds of difficulties. Making carbon dioxide a source of fuel is not a fantasy, but a grand and expected event, benefiting thousands of generations, and the work will be in the future.
