Between heaven and earth, the cycle of carbon has the so-called source and sink. The source is where the carbon comes out; the sink is where the carbon comes in.
Mountains, forests and rivers, where vegetation is lush, are sinks of carbon. Plants photosynthesize, absorb carbon into the atmosphere, and store themselves for their growth. Soil is also a sink, which can store carbon inside to ensure its stability.
And man-made things are mostly the source of carbon. Burning fossil fuels, such as coal, oil and gas, carbon comes out with fireworks and enters the atmosphere. Industrial manufacturing, agricultural activities, all have carbon escape.
To seek the balance of carbon, we should re-sink and save the source. Plant a wide range of plants and trees, protect the lush mountains and forests, and increase the energy of sinks. Reduce the burning of fossils, implement energy-saving strategies, and control the source. In this way, the carbon of the atmosphere can be stabilized, and the ecological environment can be peaceful.
