Carbon Cycle Main Sources
The main source of the carbon cycle

Between heaven and earth, the cycle of carbon originates from multiple sources, which is related to the life and breath of all things. The main sources of the carbon cycle are all kinds and cannot be ignored.

One of them is the respiration of living things. All living things in the world, such as animals and plants, need to breathe to survive. When breathing, inhale the breath and exhale the turbid air. In this turbid air, there are carbon oxides. For example, people and animals, between day and night, breathe non-stop, and the carbon they emit merges into the atmosphere to form one of the sources of the carbon cycle. And although plants and trees are quiet, they also breathe. Photosynthesis sequesters carbon during the day, and respiration releases carbon at night. It contributes to the circulation of carbon.

Second, the combustion of fossil fuels. Coal, oil, and natural gas have been buried deep in the ground over time, and they contain a lot of carbon. Since the rise of industry, humans have relied on these fuels to obtain energy, drive machinery, and heat lighting. However, when it burns, carbon oxidizes rapidly, and enters the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide. Factory chimneys and vehicle exhaust are all their paths, causing atmospheric carbon to rise gradually, affecting the climate and environment.

Third, deforestation and land use change. Forests are known as "carbon sinks", which can absorb carbon and sequester carbon. If they are cut down, the carbon stored in trees will either decompose with decay or be released by burning and return to the atmosphere. And land use changes, such as grasslands reclaimed for farmland, wetlands turned into building land, ecological changes, also disrupt the carbon cycle, the original carbon storage state is broken, and carbon sources increase.

Fourth, the release of the ocean. The ocean is vast and a huge reservoir of carbon. Although it can dissolve a large amount of carbon, under certain conditions, such as rising water temperature and pH changes, the carbide in seawater will decompose, and carbon dioxide will escape from the sea surface and enter the atmosphere, which also adds to the carbon cycle.

The main source of the carbon cycle is intertwined and complex, related to ecological balance and climate change. Humans should make sense of it, save resources, protect forests and protect the sea, and maintain the stability of the carbon cycle and protect the safety of heaven and earth.
