The carbon cycle represents the sink, flux and source
Between heaven and earth, the cycle of carbon is related to the life of all things. The sink, the return of carbon, is like a deep source, absorbing carbon gas, so that the amount of carbon in the atmosphere can be measured. Its shape is like a lush forest, and the vast sea is where carbon converges. The forest absorbs carbon dioxide in the air with the photosynthesis of its leaves, sequesters carbon in the body, and then becomes the green lung of the earth; the sea, with its vastness, dissolves carbon in water and stores carbon in the bottom, like a huge carbon pool.

The flux is also the measure of carbon flow. Its surging between heaven and earth, the urgency of the speed, and the straightness of the path are all the keys to ecology. The respiration of plants, the light during the day, and the release of carbon at night, is a change in flux. And if a river carries carbon into the ocean, the speed of its flow and the amount of it are also a sign of flux. Changes in flux are controlled by the order of time, the shape of the earth, and the rise and fall of things.

The source is also the beginning of carbon. Volcanic eruption, the fire of the earth, carbon comes out with the smoke and disperses in the world; the rot of living things, the dissolution of the body, and the return of carbon to the atmosphere. There are also human karma, burning fuel and burning charcoal, the speed of cars and horses, and the prosperity of factories, all of which are sources of carbon. The prosperity of the source makes the amount of atmospheric carbon increase day by day, causing climate change, the global temperature gradually rises, and the ecological system is also disturbed by it.

Sink, flux, and source, the three are related to each other, coforming the cycle of carbon. If the sink is strong and the source is weak, and the flux is orderly, the cycle of carbon will be smooth, and the ecology of heaven and earth will be peaceful. On the contrary, the source is prosperous and the sink is exhausted, and the flux will be disordered, which will inevitably lead to the danger of the environment. Therefore, it is reasonable to control the source and strengthen the sink, and follow the rules of flux to ensure the constancy of heaven and earth and the prosperity of all things.
