Altered Carbon Source in Chemical Engineering
The change of carbon sources in the chemical industry

The chemical industry is related to the national economy and people's livelihood, among which the change of carbon sources is particularly critical. The carbon sources used in the past were mostly traditional things, but the times changed, and the old carbon sources gradually showed their drawbacks.

Today's scholars are working hard to explore new carbon sources. Or it is derived from biomass, which is converted into usable materials through exquisite methods; or it is taken from industrial waste gas, which turns useless into useful and practices green methods.

The characteristics of new carbon sources are more advantageous than those of the old ones. Its reactivity is better, which can make the chemical process more efficient; and energy consumption is reduced, which is in line with the general trend of energy conservation today. At the same time, the impact on the environment is also small, less pollution is generated, and the ecological balance is helped.

However, the promotion of new carbon sources is not a smooth way. Technology still needs to be refined, and costs need to be reduced urgently. Only with the joint efforts of many parties, the dedication of scientific researchers, the active practice of enterprises, and the support of policy makers can the new carbon source shine in the field of chemical industry, lead the transformation of the industry, and move towards the gateway to sustainable development.
